Stories of Healing & Answered Prayer

• During tough economic times, we prayed for the sale of a family business ( for which there was a very small demand) and it SOLD!
• New job! A young man was out of work and having difficulty finding a new job. We prayed for him, and he was offered the best paying job he's ever had, with full benefits.
• A man was healed of a fatal disease known as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder) that had caused him to be confined to a portable oxygen tank just to be able to breathe. He was prayed over at a Simple church meeting, after a little 8-year old boy had commented, "That's just not right," to his father, who then suggested that the group pray over him. Within days, the man was able to breathe without the help of the oxygen tank; and when tested by medical professionals, his oxygen levels were climinbing to levels above that which could previously only be achieved through the assistance of the tank. The healing process continued through the following weeks - and he is currently still "oxygen tank free".
• A woman was healed of a low blood platelet count after being prayed over at a Simple church meeting. The next day, the woman had it checked again, and it was found that her count was now well above average. The same night, we prayed for her house to sell - and within 5 days, it had sold; and they were able to close on their new home soon after that.
• A little boy was healed of stuttering when his mother prayed over him.
• A woman was healed of chronic back pain after a "word of knowledge" was given at a Simple church meeting. Several others came forward for prayer for back pain as well, and many of them experienced healing.
• A baby was healed of Spina Bifida while still in the womb, after the prayers of several people together at a Simple church meeting.
• A woman was healed of a broken cheekbone, which had been shattered in three places. The doctor had scheduled an intensive surgery involving metal plates inserted to hold the bones in place as they healed. In between the time of the initial interview with the doctor and the scheduled surgery, we prayed for healing. As the doctor began the surgery, he was astonished to discover that the bones had already begun to knit together, and that the metal plates were not needed after all. A shorter, far less extensive surgery was performed (what else could he do, since he was already there?) and the healing occurred far quicker than medical professionals had imagined possible.
• A woman was healed of back injuries as the result of the prayers of several people.
• Three women experienced healing of their allergies while being prayed over during a Simple church meeting. One woman was able to help her family put up hay the following day, with no symptoms and without the aid of any medicines. Prior to this healing, a "day of hay" would have been excruciating for her. The other two women reported that their symptoms had abated the following day as well.
• A young boy was healed of allergies when his parents shared the testimony of how his mother had been healed of her allergies as a result of prayer the previous evening. They prayed over him and he was healed as well.

God has wired us for relationship.

God will do whatever it takes to defeat and to sabotage within us the spirit of isolation.

Learning to pray together helps defeat the spirit of wrongful isolation.

There are blessings of abundance that are reserved only for those who pray together.

God’s dealings with us are designed to create maximum dependency upon Him & interdependency with others.

When God calls out to us, He is looking past our inadequacies and speaking to our potential. This becomes a directional model in how we pray for one another.

Praying together attracts the presence, power and perspective of heaven.

God’s purposes precede God’s provisions.

God’s power flows into His purposes.

God’s peace precedes His provision.
