Pub Church:
Pub Church meets once a month (usually the 2nd Sunday of the month) at the Irish Embassy Pub - located at 9th & Main, downtown Durango, CO. We meet downstairs at the Pub.
Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20
One of the reasons we do church in the “simple” way is so that our people will have more time to devote to their community. Oftentimes, church-life can become all-consuming as we become wrapped up in our own programs and meetings, so much so that the surrounding community receives little attention. Our purpose, with simple structure, is to invite our people to invest time and resources into the community in such a way that we live out the joys of God’s kingdom in the real world.
